Crypto Payments in Plain Language
The Alverum AI Payment Assistant guides users through preparing, reviewing and confirming crypto payments — without hiding what is being signed.
Purpose
Sending crypto today requires knowledge of networks, gas mechanics, token standards and address formats. The AI Payment Assistant is designed to translate a user's intent — for example "send 50 USDC to this address" — into a clearly presented transaction the user can review before signing.
How It May Simplify Payments
- Interpret common payment intents expressed in natural language.
- Highlight the recipient address, amount, token and network in a readable summary.
- Offer suggestions when a chosen network or token appears unavailable.
- Flag common mistakes such as unusual addresses or unsupported tokens.
Asset & Network Selection
The assistant can propose which supported network and token to use for a payment, based on the user's connected wallet balances and the destination requested. Users can override any proposal and choose their preferred asset or network manually.
Transaction Preparation
Once a payment intent is confirmed, the assistant prepares the on-chain transaction data and passes it to the user's wallet for signing. Nothing is sent until the user approves the transaction inside their own wallet.
Fee & Speed Considerations
The assistant surfaces estimated fees and expected confirmation time using live network data. These are estimates only — actual fees depend on real-time network conditions at the moment the transaction is broadcast.
User Confirmation
Every transaction requires an explicit confirmation from the user's wallet. The assistant does not, and cannot, sign transactions on the user's behalf, move funds or approve token spends without a wallet signature.
Security Limitations
The AI Payment Assistant is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee. It cannot detect every scam, malicious contract, phishing address or compromised token. Users are always responsible for verifying transaction details before signing.
Alverum will never ask for a seed phrase, private key or wallet recovery phrase.
Current Development Status
