Crypto Checkout Built for Merchants
A checkout flow designed for businesses to request, receive and confirm crypto payments — with clear status tracking and predictable behavior.
Merchant Payment Flow
A merchant creates a payment request describing what is being sold, the amount and the accepted assets. The customer opens the checkout, chooses a supported payment option and completes the transaction from their own wallet. Alverum tracks the on-chain state of the payment and updates the merchant's view accordingly.
Payment Requests
- Merchants can create payment requests with a fixed amount and description.
- Each request has a unique link that can be shared with a customer.
- Requests can be viewed on desktop and mobile devices.
QR-Code Payments
Every checkout can be shown as a QR code the customer scans with their mobile wallet. The QR code encodes the request address, amount and network so the customer's wallet can prepare the correct transaction automatically. The customer still reviews and signs the payment inside their own wallet.
Transaction Confirmation
Once broadcast, Alverum monitors the transaction on the target network and updates the checkout with confirmation progress. Merchants see when a payment has been detected, confirmed or has failed, without having to poll a block explorer manually.
Payment Status Tracking
Underpayment & Overpayment
Because crypto amounts can change slightly during transit (for example when network fees are deducted client-side), a payment may arrive as underpayment or overpayment. Alverum flags these clearly to the merchant so they can decide how to respond — release the order, request a top-up, or refund the difference from their own wallet.
Planned Merchant Tools
- Reusable payment links and hosted checkout pages.
- Basic analytics of accepted payments over time.
- Multi-chain acceptance across supported networks.
- Webhooks and API access for integrating with existing storefronts.
